Hi... We are Ron and Teresa. We met two years ago, fell in love and bought into this home together last year. We are excited to see where this second chapter of our lives will take us during our retirement years. Ron retired from the navy after 20 years of service and later retired for a second time from the Oceanside California police department. I worked at DMV in Oregon for 18 years, owned 11 rentals, and most recently moved to Arizona to escape the snows of upstate New York. Now we are downsizing and combining households here in sunny Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Ron is a great cook and it would be so nice for him to have a kitchen worthy of his creations to keep him busy during retirement.

The previous owners had a fetish for pink. All the carpets... All the trim... All the tile. (See below) Ron has gone through room by room, repainted and changed out most of the flooring. However, the kitchen is still in it's original state and haunts us daily:
- Flat green paint that is difficult to clean.
- Small pink/purple tile counter top that clashes with the green cupboards and has a ton of grout lines that are difficult to clean.
- Cupboards that won't stay shut.
- Lazy susans that don't turn.
- Drawer slides that are constantly in need of repair.
- No storage for appliances and pans so they sit on the counters limiting work space.
- Narrow floor space so we're tripping over each other when cooking together.
- A porcelain sink that has lost its sheen and stains easily.
- A broken garbage disposal that we recently removed and temporarily replaced with a drain strainer.
- White porous tile floors that collect and show dirt as soon as you clean them. Even professional cleaning didn't help.
Unfortunately we've had to put off redoing the kitchen as disabilities and budget constraints have pushed it beyond our capabilities. We would love to have the area reworked and would be willing to use the space in our den to increase the size and efficiency of our kitchen/dining room, maybe converting our current dining area to an office space.
